“Helping First-Time Guests Become Full-Time Members” – Rev. Ted Harvey, Facilitator
Every Sunday morning God brings new people to our churches. Do you have a systematic plan to touch your first-time guests in such a way that they almost always come back for a second and third time? Did you know that there is a proven strategy for increasing the ratio of your first-time guests becoming long-time members? In my seminar I’m going to share with you how to make a good first impression, how to properly train your greeters, how to use the greatest assimilation tool ever: the Connection Card, also the best way to follow up with your guests, ways on how to WOW them, plus much more. Those who come to this seminar can receive the entire Assimilation Seminar audio version PLUS an e-book entitled, “Healthy Systems –
“Discovering A Church Health Plan”- Rev. Tommy Echols & Rev. Paul Flores, Facilitators
The Church Health Plan workshop will acquaint the participant with tools to implement a tailored Church Health Plan for their church. We will introduce several methods and show the value of each method. Each church is unique and will intersect the Church Health Plan in differing areas. We will explore ways to discern when and where to move the church and individuals forward. We will be as practical and personal as possible in the time allowed. Additional questions and concerns can be addressed after the workshop. We will help you through the planning process as you identify the need.
“Finding & Developing Godly Leaders” – Rev. Eddie Hatcher, Facilitator
This Workshop will start with an overview of the principles Jesus used in finding and developing the first generation of godly leaders for the early church. We, also, will consider the four phases of finding and developing godly leaders that are outlined in the Gospels. Finally, we will consider a model of leadership selection and development for the local church based on Jesus’ methodology. A list of questions will be provided to help seminar participants begin to identify potential leaders and to establish an intentional leadership development process for the local church. A short bibliography will be included as well.
“Engaging Your Community for Christ”: Rev. Ken Bledsoe & Rev. Mark Davis, Facilitators
In the “Engaging Your Community for Christ” Workshop we will be examining the call to take the light of the Gospel to our communities. In our time together we will examine biblical principles as well as share some practiced methods. While we are often encouraged to see the needs of the “world,” we must realize that the “world” begins at our doorstep. It’s not as complicated or difficult as we may think!
“Basic Essentials to Building a Church Website”: Rev. Chris Loyd, Facilitator
Web sites make it possible for people to visit your church before they visit your church. In other words, potential visitors can have basic questions answered and any fears relieved by getting to know your church in the comfort of their own home. For the church member, a web site can be a tremendous tool for communication and connection. Primarily for the beginner, this Workshop will explore the essentials of a church web site and how to get one up and running. The questions we will seek to answer are: Why does a church need a web site; What should be on a web site; What can a church accomplish with a web site; and, how does your church get a web site if you are not very computer capable?
“How to Develop a Men’s Ministry”: Rev. David Persson
Starting and growing a Men’s Ministry is a rewarding process, that is not very difficult. Here we will examine some simple ways to start a Men’s Monthly Breakfast, a Men’s Bible Study and Prayer Group, and a Men’s Mission Team.
“How to Start an ESL (English as a Second Language) Ministry”: Rev. David Persson
Some of our existing NJNet Churches have ongoing ESL Ministries. We will help you to connect with these Churches so they can help teach and mentor your church in developing your own ESL Ministry.
