EquipNet 2010

“Engaging Our Mission”

Praise, Fellowship, Workshops, Youth, Fun, Music, Food, Equipping, Friends, Churches, Worship, Training, & Families: These are just some of the words we could use to describe NJNet’s Annual Training Conference.  This year EquipNet was held on March 20, 2010 at Terrill Road Baptist Church, from 8:30 AM – Noon.  Thank you to Pastor Bill Page and his Church for hosting this special event!

 

Over 105 people came representing 17 churches, plus we had another great Youth Rally.  The day began with a short Praise and Welcome Gathering in the Worship Center, then the adults went to their Workshops while the teenagers enjoyed the Youth Rally.  Music was provided by Gateway Baptist Church’s praise band-“Station 153”, and Rev. Brooks Cone was the guest speaker for the Youth.

 

Five different Workshops reflecting the five focus areas of NJNet’s mission were offered at two different times.  This allowed the participants to select two Workshop choices for the day.

Some of our churches that attended have already put into practice the things they learned in our Workshops!   Praise the Lord!  Part of NJNet’s strategy is to discover the needs of our Churches and then design Workshops to meet those specific needs.  NJNet would welcome the opportunity to come and serve at your Church.  Each of the above Workshop Facilitators is willing and enthusiastic about bringing their Workshop to your Church.
