EquipNet & Youth Event
March 17, 2012
NJNet's Annual Training and Equipping Conference and Youth Event. Held this year at Somerset Hills Baptist Church, 510 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ, 07920.
Just a quick update on our recent EquipNet Conference held on March 17th. Over 170 people representing 18 NJNet Churches turned out for an excitng day filled with Worship, a brief Business meeting, a Special Youth Rally, eight different Workshops, great music by the Word of Life Collegians, and a delicious lunch!
Special thanks to Pastor Ted Harvey and his wonderful team of helpers from our host church, Somerset Hills Baptist Church for the excellent job they did in making all of us feel right at home. Thank you very much!
During our very brief Business meeting we approved 4 important recommendations:
1. Adding the phrase "new Churches" to our vision statement.
2. Revised 2012 NJNet Budget.
3. New NJNet Staff Strategy
4. New part time NJNet Ministry Associate- Rev. Mark Davis
